The following article summarises the Healthy Work Project. It has been co-authored by Robert Phillips, Founder of Jericho Chambers; award-winning author and CEO, Margaret Heffernan; and Veronica Hope Hailey, Professor Emeritus of Management Studies, University of Bath.

Determined to avoid a bleak future, it includes an invitation to business leaders and organisations to join an open and collaborative initiative that places healthy work front-and-centre of a good work and better leadership future.

The future of central London will be the subject of a new Jericho programme for 2021, curated on behalf of Capital & Counties Properties PLC and run in partnership with Centre for London. It will seek input and insight, wisdom and ideas from a broad range of stakeholders, building on earlier work in this space – including the celebrated London Essays - and the London in Recovery Jericho Conversation in May 2020.

Laura Sandys, CEO Challenging Ideas, this week launches the first episode and headline findings of her latest report ReCosting Energy. Published ahead of the imminent Government Energy White Paper, recommendations include changing energy system objectives, which include moving from consumption to optimisation; and getting more from less across five key drivers of cost and value – Carbon, Capital, Capacity, Costs, and most importantly Customers.
