What happens to the customer? is being hosted in partnership with our friends at The Foundation, whose founder, Charlie Dawson, will join us as expert commentator.

The State of Trust

Thank you to our panellists and those who joined us on Friday for another great conversation on the State of Trust, with Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Danny Finkelstein, Veronica Hope-Hailey and Amanda Mackenzie. If you missed it, you can read a quick summary and view on catch-up here.

This moment demands that all playbooks are cast aside and we get closer to reality, with more humility. We need a change in culture to do this.

More on Responsible Tax: Reaction, Resilience, Recovery & The New Reality

What is the Responsible Tax response to the global COVID-19 crisis? Who pays for the extraordinary measures now being taken – when and how?

Jericho has been convening and curating the global Responsible Tax project in partnership with KPMG since 2015. The current crisis adds poignancy and urgency.

In early May, Jericho and KPMG hosted a series of expert roundtables to consider the various phases of response: Reaction, Resilience, Recovery and The New Reality.

The report from the first roundtable on Reaction & Resilience can be found here and from the second roundtable on Recovery is here. The third report – The New Reality – will be available soon.

This roundtable series is one of a number of deeper dives on key issues and areas impacted by the crisis. Look-out in June and July for more on Responsible Tax plus programmes on Good Work, Public Health and the Future of Tech.
