Toby Mundy is the founding director of TMA, an agency that represents authors and speakers and helps brands to publish. Prior to this, he founded Atlantic Books Limited, where he served as chief executive and publisher from 2000 to 2014. He is also Executive Director of the Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-fiction and a vice-chair of the board of trustees of Wimbledon BookFest; a member of the advisory board of the think-tank Demos; and an ambassador for the knowledge networking company, Editorial Intelligence. He was a non-executive director of Prospect Publishing Limited for 10 years, and still sits on the magazine’s advisory board. Between 2009 and 2014 Toby was the UK member of the international advisory board of the Legatum Institute.
